Ravensbourne is delighted to be exhibiting OpaCity – a 3D printed glass cityscape created by artist Hélène Varin. Hélène is a student at Cerfav, a glass research and training centre in northern France.

Opa City

During October the glass cityscape, first exhibited at Shoreditch Town Hall as part of NESTA’s FutureFest programme, will be in residence in Ravensbourne’s welcome space.

Will Pearson, Ravensbourne’s Director of Technology will introduce OpaCity and show how Ravensbourne’s staff and students have responded to the residency with their own ideas. Expect digital projection mapping, 3D printed vertical cities and more!

The residency will explore new possibilities in architectural modelling, interaction design and digital mapping.

Refreshments will be provided.

Location: Welcome Space, Ravensbourne

Date: Thursday 17 October
