Students from Ravensbourne’s Screen School have completed their largest Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) broadcast to date, streaming a production of Macbeth to over 450 schools across the UK, reaching an estimated 50,000 students.

The production marked the seventh year of the collaboration, facilitated by a dedicated team of television and editing and post production students. From production lead to graphics operator, technical lead and director, students fulfilled a wide range of roles.

We have been teaching television and broadcasting courses at Ravensbourne University London for nearly 40 years, which makes this one of the most respected courses in the field.

When you graduate with a BSc Hons degree in broadcast engineering, you will have developed first-class engineering skills gained through real-world technical and creative projects. Engineering students lead on the technical build, transmission and troubleshooting, and may take on key operational roles in camera and sound if required.

The Ravensbourne materials library is curated by Material ConneXion, a business that introduces brands to the latest material innovations.

The materials scientists at Material ConneXion select innovative materials relevant to the courses at Ravensbourne and that reflect current trends in design and manufacturing.

Samples of these materials are then added to the library so students and staff can browse the physical collection for inspiration, material ideas and applications.

The library hosts 1,500 material samples and an interactive table for further research and access to the Material ConneXion database.
