This Digital Marketing course is new to the undergraduate portfolio and provides students with the relevant creative and technical know-how to design, deliver and evaluate intelligent digital marketing strategies and campaigns.

The course offers an industry-led approach, but is underpinned with a theoretical focus to equip students with all the fundamentals of digital marketing.

Entry requirements

Students will be expected to have five GCSEs (grade C/level 4 or above) or equivalent (including English), and hold at least one of the below or equivalent UK/international qualifications.

 

Qualifications accepted:

  • 2 A levels, grade C or above
  • AS levels, grade C or above
  • 2 vocational A levels, grade C or above
  • Level 3 Foundation Diploma or National Diploma
  • Advanced Diploma, grade C or above
  • International Baccalaureate, 24 points or above
  • International students will be required to have IELTS with an overall score of 5.5 or above, or TOEFL with an overall score of 72 or above.

 

Selection criteria

Students should ideally have a background in art, creative media, or design. Applicants are expected to submit a portfolio of work which shows a range of their skills and demonstrates why they would be a good fit for the course.

We may also consider a combination of portfolio and academic qualifications and take into consideration progress made during studies and/or relevant work experience.

Assessment

Students will be taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials and practical classes.

In the second and third years they will spend more time working on projects that involve developing systems and doing experimental work with guidance from their supervisor and industry connections.
