Andrew Nicholls MSc PGCert FHEA

Andrew worked as an engineer at Matrix Studios (Little Russell Street, Wessex, Maison Rouge, Studdridge Street) in the mid-1990s and later joined Sony Music’s Whitfield Street Studios where he worked as a Pro Tools operator on a wide range of orchestral, film, and rock/pop sessions.

Following this he worked with the singer Sade for six years as an engineer and programmer and gained co-writing credits on two songs on her ‘Soldier of Love’ album.

He began teaching sound engineering and music production in 2011 and has taught at Ravensbourne since 2015.

He holds an MSc in Music and Sound Technology (Audio Engineering), a PGCert in Teaching and Learning for Creative Courses, and is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA).
