The internet should, in theory, be a job seekers' paradise but we know it can seem overwhelming. Most companies advertise jobs on their own websites so try to check there regularly. This list has been put together based on the careers our students and graduates from each course typically go into.

Hiive is a professional network for the creative industries, created by Skillset. It is targeted at companies, course providers and professionals at any stage in their creative career and offers networking opportunities and adverts for work.

Creative Access

Creative Access

Creative Access provide opportunities for paid internships in the creative industries for young people of graduate (or equivalent standard) from under-represented black, Asian and other non-white minority ethnic backgrounds (BAME). They aim to improve their chances of securing full-time jobs and, in the longer term, increase diversity and address the imbalance in the sector.

Design scholarships

J. Walter Thompson (JWT)

Deadline: 31st of May 2015

Location: Knightsbridge, London

JWT are offering a scholarships to female students in design industries. Successful applicants will be awarded £10,000 towards their studies and an internship at JWT London.

Criteria for taking part:

  • Be female.
  • Be registered as a student at one of the designated HLR participating undergraduate and/or portfolio schools. Ravensbourne is on the HLR approved list, however you can find more information on their downloadable document
  • Show creative talent and promise.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic and creative progress as determined by your institute. If the scholarship recipient leaves the school/institute by transferring or cannot completing the program, the scholarship will be revoked.
