Ravensbourne Course Leader Jenna Donnelly tops the charts with a track she co-wrote and co-produced.
The house track, titled ‘Definitely Something’, ranked number 1 on the Music Week Commercial Pop Chart in early August.
Music Week is a leading trade magazine for the music industry and Jenna’s entry beat the likes of Tiesto, Jess Glynne and Ed Sheeran to the number 1 spot.
The artist is Honeyz, known for their 90's hits 'Finally Found' and 'End Of The Line'. Jenna co-produced the track with established dance producers, Soulshaker, and co-wrote the track with Soulshaker and two singers from Honeyz, Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman.
BA (Hons) Music for Media’s Jenna Donnelly is a platinum-selling composer, songwriter, producer and performer signed to Peer Music/Galactic Music. She has written for or performed as an artist on major label releases such as Sony, Virgin and Warner.
In addition to her own international dance and pop chart hits, Jenna works with upcoming and established artists, as well as music-based TV shows (ITV, The Voice). Recent successes include a number one album in Japan with star Namie Amuro ('Fashionista' on her twelfth studio album 'Genic') and a new single with the Irish singer-songwriter 'Bry', signed to Snow Patrol's 'Polar Patrol Publishing'.

The course BA (Hons) Music for Media is intended for a new style of musician who recognises and embraces the radical changes that are occurring in the music industry. It is aimed at music performers, producers and composers who wish to apply their musical learning to a number of uses in order to forge a career that will combine creativity and business acumen.
