Success at Graduate Fashion Week

Jasmine Macphee, a BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion student, takes home prestigious Fashion New Media award at Graduate Fashion Week.

Third-year Ravensbourne student Jasmine was awarded the accolade for her final major project, an app aimed at fashion industry interns and employers.

The working prototype was acclaimed for its fluid user experience, framed within a clean, modern design.

Reflecting on her success Jasmine said; “The award has made my dream of starting my app a reality. The money will go to my app fund and the exposure will give me the platform I need to create the company. I have taken a role at an app company that will teach me the way an app start up works; after a year I will equipped to start my own company."

Graduate Fashion Week takes place annually and celebrates the creativity of students and graduates from universities around the world. The event attracts over 30,000 guests each June and features a range of formats, from catwalk shows and exhibitions to live talks and industry workshops.

Congratulations to Jasmine on her success.
