Representatives from Channel 4, ITV and other major names in broadcasting visited Ravensbourne to inspire young people who have a passion to work in the media.
TV Careers Day was led by The Creative Diversity Network (CDN), a broadcast industry organisation paving the way for more diversity and inclusion in the media. Around 300 young people from under-represented groups took part in what proved to be a lively and engaging event.
Industry professionals shared their tips on how to make it in one of the world's most competitive industries, providing a unique insight into the range of jobs that currently exist.
Attendees took part in a series of workshops that covered personal development, pathways into TV production and the ways that CDN are driving the case for diversity and inclusion, on and off screen.
