Professor Robin Baker OBE (See below right) has announced his intention to leave his position as Director and CEO of Ravensbourne.
Jonathan Drori, Chair of Ravensbourne’s Board of Governors stated, "Robin will be leaving having devoted almost 20 years to the institution. He has led Ravensbourne to become an acclaimed beacon for digitally-focused creative learning in a remarkable new building at Greenwich. I and the Board thank Robin and wish him every happiness. The search for his successor begins immediately."
Professor Baker said, “It is with mixed feelings that I will be leaving Ravensbourne. I have enjoyed myself enormously and I am extremely proud to have played a part in Ravensbourne’s development. I know that Ravensbourne will continue to be a huge success as it has such a talented body of staff and students, and I look forward to seeing it continue as a world-leader in digital creativity.”
In his announcement Robin Baker also said that the remaining 12 months of his tenure will be focused on supporting Ravensbourne in continuing to achieve its ambitions as a world-class, innovative, industry-focused university sector college located in the heart of London. He will also be supporting the Board of Governors and the Senior Management Team in seeking a new Director and CEO of Ravensbourne.
