IDEA/Architecture undergraduates from Ravensbourne take part in the World Architecture Festival

Layton Reid

ArchOnce again the IDEA/Architecture undergraduates from Ravensbourne have been asked to take part in the World Architecture Festival.

The world's largest festival and live awards for the global architecture community: debate, learn and be inspired.

Students will run the juries deciding on the awards for the worlds greatest buildings and interiors, and will be meeting the worlds greatest designers.

The students started work with WAF 4 months ago by helping to facilitate the shortlisting of the awards in London , where students assisted the juries deciding on the worlds best architectural projects. They then worked with the administration to deliver these projects to Singapore.

Students are now on their way to Singapore sponsored by AHMM the International Award Winning Architects and Designers of Ravensbourne's new halls of residence. A great industry and education collaboration.

Layton Reid our IDEA and Architecture course director is also going as he has been again shortlisted for best experimental architect, with Desitecture Architects and Designers.

We wish them all success, and will be updating you with images and videos form the event over the coming days.
