I have been really surprised at the volume of opportunity to gain industry experience on offer whilst studying as a Web Media student. In my first year, the course helped me get two work placements with an online music company and at Tate Online. I also found a paid position with Green Schools Online, a local company specialising in building websites. I have now finished my second year and have spent the last two terms working with my course tutor and the Royal Shakespeare Company on an interactive web project that went live to secondary school students across the UK, a great opportunity to stretch the skills I've learnt through my course. The possibilities within Ravensbourne’s Web Media course are really quite endless if you want to take them.Amy Jackson-Bruce, BA (Hons) Web Media
