You will be assessed through the completion of practical and written work including essays and a range of individual or group artefacts, presentations, projects and reports that focus on practical and business skills.
**In addition, applicants will normally be expected to have passed grade 5, GCSE Music or equivalent, and possess basic keyboard skills.
You will study: music theory; culture and language; the music industry; production and composition skills: popular music, music studio recording and post production and contextual studies.
You will study: music and sound for interactive media 1; modes of production; creative collaboration; production and composition skills: electronic arrangement, music and sound for moving image and cinema and dissertation preparation.
You will study: dissertation; major project portfolio; music and sound for interactive media 2; production and composition skills: the sound of Hollywood, negotiated individual project.
This course is intended for a new style of musician who recognises and embraces the radical changes that are occurring in the music industry.
