Undergraduate Learner's project
This course has been designed to give you the professional skills, knowledge and experience to use digital technologies creatively in the making of advertising and advertising campaigns.
The course will enable you to prepare an innovative, creative portfolio of advertising to progress into key roles in the advertising industry. The course specialises in advertising, marketing and promotions, with particular emphasis on designing for new media and multiple platforms. Graphic design, branding, moving image and animation skills are underpinned by an understanding of key advertising strategies and core business knowledge.
A variety of roles are open to graduates including: account handler/manager, copywriter, digital designer, creative manager/director, web designer, graphic designer, interactive designer, and design producer.
You will learn through a mixture of practice and theory-based learning; this will include lectures, seminars, workshops, individual tutorials, self-directed study and projects. You will be guided by professionally qualified and experienced teaching staff and visiting speakers from industry.
